Attendance & Health Office Information

To Report an Absence:

Please email or call our office by 9am to report an absence: Claudia.Felix@eusd.net or 760-944-4360 (24hrs).

Please include your child's name, teacher name, date(s) of absence, and reason for absence.

 

Attendance Matters!

When children do not attend school regularly, they can suffer academically and socially. One or two days a month adds up quickly! Students miss out on:

·      Fundamental reading and math skills

·      The chance to develop social skills & friendships

·      The chance to build a habit of good attendance that will carry them into college and careers.

Please help your child succeed in school by building the habit of good attendance early, so they learn right away that attending school on time and every day is important. Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school and themselves. Good attendance will help children do well later in middle/high school, college, and in their future careers.

If you are facing challenges related to health care, unstable housing, transportation, or lack of food, please reach out.  We may be able to connect you to services for the whole family!
 

Some absences are unavoidable. Children get sick and need to miss school occasionally. The important thing is to have students attend school as often as possible and on time.  If your student must be absent, please reach out to us and report the absence.

Health Office

Please update us with any changes in your child's health including updated immunization information, fractured bones or sprains, surgery, new medical or mental health condition, new medications, etc. You can reach us by email or phone, and we’re eager to partner with you in keeping our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn!
